Tents of Old came in to being because when I got involved in re-enactment I wasn’t able to find a reasonable priced tent of good quality. At least, not one that suited my needs and wallet. After some thinking I set out and made my own. With the help from my mother in law. At that time I didn’t have a clue about sewing.
Who we are, I am Sander van der Ster, together with Anneloes Schijns we have a lovely boy called Florijn. His little brother or sister will be bourn in about 2 weeks from now (04-05-2009). I started re-enacting in January 2003. has it been that long already? I started with the 27th Jäger 1st comp. 1814-1815. later on that changed to the 6th comp. Flankers. From then on it started to get out of hand. I’m now involved in 7 different time periods and I’m sure there will be more. |
